Tributaries: Artist Talk and Workshop in Rockingham

I am really pleased that Tributaries, before heading to the regions with Art On The Move, will be showing in Rockingham. Rockingham Arts Centre has recently been renovated under the directorship of Jude Vander Merwe and is still close enough for Perth and Fremantle audiences, as well as people living in the Peel region.

In Tributaries I take a migrant's perspective on the fragile habitats Western Australia houses in view of human settlement and the animals we keep, and the increasing impact of climate change.

The exhibition runs 3-19 February 2023. I will give a (free) artist talk on Saturday 11 February 2-3pm. Register here.

I am also facilitating a couple of fun creative workshops on 11 and on 18 February 2023 11am-1pm. We'll be making Wearable Treasures using found objects, glass beads and crochet copper wire; cost is $35 per person; no prior skills required. Numbers are limited so it is absolutely necessary to register before 3 February - info and booking info here.

I hope to see you there!
